Rheinmetall and Uvision’s HERO is an Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) of the “loitering munition” type, which remains airborne for long periods of time to decide on the time and target of attack with flexibility. All HERO systems are designed to operate in complex battlefield conditions, including environments with jammed radio connections or without GPS reception.
