Hanwha Arion-SMET

At the military airshow ADEX 2023, South Korean company Hanwha unveiled a new Unmanned Ground System (UGS) called the Arion-SMET. The system is designed to provide various support roles, including in autonomous surveillance and close combat.

The Arion-SMET integrates a Deep Neural Network (DNN) remote-controlled weapons station. It can “track enemy combatants, pinpoint the origin of gunfire, and respond with targeted fire”.
