I’m Back! Why I Was Quiet, What I Learned, and What’s Next
Hello! 👋 an overdue note.
You may have noticed this site went quiet. The reason is simple and boring: last year I was balancing immigration and visa legalities in Thailand, intensive Cambridge studies while travelling, and a heavy load of remote work and research, including commitments with the United Nations. Every hour was claimed. I didn’t abandon writing; I had to prioritise responsibilities that could not wait.
That period taught me something important: I can hold a lot, but I also have limits worth respecting. I’ve learned to choose where to invest time so that the result is better work, not just busyness. I have a bit more runway now, and I intend to rebuild this site into a place for thoughtful writing about AI, policy, travel, productivity experiments, and candid personal reflections. There will be occasional spicy or scandalous essays, because truth sometimes needs bluntness.
One thing to be clear about: everything here will be written by me. As someone who researches AI, I value its power, but I also value the human perspective that machines cannot emulate. I’ve had consistent top results in academic work because I care about craft; I’ll show that in what I publish. Thank you for reading, for your patience, and for sticking around.
